RM Schulte and Associates, one of the industries’ leading search firms has been selected to lead a search in the Lima, OH area for an Accountant.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
  • Administer all Accounting functions;
    • A/P
    • A/R
    • Collections
    • Cash flow
    • Financial Statements
    • Closings (Monthly, Quarterly, Year End)
    • Fixed Asset Control, etc…
  • Prepare and submit all required ITW reporting
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • Handle completing/multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated computer skills: Microsoft Office products Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
  • Demonstrated experience with financial and accounting software applications
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required
  • CPA preferred
General Duties:
  1. A sound understanding of generally accepting accounting procedures and the ability to adapt them to a variety of opportunities
  2. Work with management as a team player to satisfy the needs and goals based on direction established by management
  3. Cash management governing responsibilities for multi-corporate operations from cash flow to financing loans with banking industry and integration of the electronic processes for finance as it benefits the corporate structure; review cash management requirements and report as necessary the demands and needs
  4. Manage internal controls and establish checks and balances as needed in the operations
  5. Prepare and analyze the quarter reporting requirements for external CPA. (These vary due to Fiscal and Calendar year companies) Upon completion of review with management, issue to insurance and Lending Institutions as required for financing agreements
  6. Comply with the external audit requirements for insurance cos. And unions as necessary
  7. Participate in any special projects that impact the accounting process and the financial structure of the specific company and the relationship to other companies as identified
  8. Generate reports as necessary responding to management’s tools for operating and guiding the corporations
