THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
As Accounting Manager, you will be an integral part of the management team and will drive the company’s short and long term financial and operational objectives and capital planning/budgeting.
Your talent and expertise will improve the senior management team of the company by continually analyzing the company’s financial performance, communicating findings and offering solutions to senior management.
You will lead the pursuit of more and better Information Systems to facilitate improved decision-making throughout the organization.
Develop relationships with employees in all departments of the company that enable problems to be shared, solutions to be identified, and effective corrective actions to be completed.
Work closely with external banking, accounting and legal partners to minimize risk and take advantage of opportunities.
Create an environment that results in the continued improvement in the skills and knowledge of your direct reports.
3+ years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment and expertise with cost accounting systems.
Data driven and experienced in the daily operations of the accounting department.
Able to analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and statements.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel from shop floor personnel to senior management and outside advisors. Experienced in Board of Advisor/Director presentations.
Experience with credit/collections and AIA billing helpful.
Excellent Excel skills.
Strong problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
BS Accounting; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
