THIS POSITION REPORTS TO AN OFFICE IN NYC AND INTO US HEAD OF SALES
  • We are seeking an experienced Broker Dealer Sales Executive to lead Enterprise Risk Management Software Sales.   The position is responsible for sales opportunity & territory management, sales strategy, and revenue generation.
  • This position requires expertise in managing complex, solution sales cycles, and involves working closely with pre-sales staff and new account development.
  • Primary responsibility will be selling and maintaining new and existing client relationships through a strategic based approach in order to increase sales, and achieve set quarterly/yearly targets. This will often involve high quality presentations, client meetings and drafting proposals.
  • Manage and coordinate responses to requests for product and services information (RFIs and RFPs) from external parties, clients and prospects.
  • A bachelor degree is required; IT or business finance related discipline.
  • The successful candidate will have 8+ years of successful selling experience to financial institutions. Particular experience in selling to the Finance, Treasury or Risk Management groups within banks a plus.
  • Must have a basic IT understanding e.g. can talk about platforms, databases, deployment.
  • Must be a strong team player and able to work in a fast paced and diverse environment.
  • Good understanding of finance and risk management acquired either by advanced study or through industry experience a plus.
  • Experience with managing a pipeline and forecasting capabilities.
  • Travel as needed 
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong domain knowledge of the front-middle-back office operations of broker dealers.
  • Take responsibility for keeping broker-dealer products knowledge to a high standard for your defined product area and a referral standard for other product lines and remain aware of any future development.
  • Act as an escalation person for Broker-Dealer products providing understanding of clients, technical information, product characteristics, coaching Sales peers in terms of Sales USPs and pre-sales questioning etc.
  • Current contacts at broker dealers.
  • Proven track record selling software solutions to the Broker Dealer industry
  • Track record of selling similar products.
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions (from a functional standpoint)
  • Run the end-to-end sales process from identifying targets, prospecting and cold calling, responding to RFPs, scheduling, conducting demonstrations, and following up on sales meetings, through price and contract negotiations.
  • Self-starter who can manage a growing pipeline.
  • Work with Product Development Teams, Account Management, Marketing, and Sales leadership to identify, plan, strategize, and move deals forward.
  • Use Sales Force to log, track and maintain accurate organization, customer, deal, and contact activity records. Use (and contribute to) consistent sales materials, approach, and techniques.  
  • Active participation in Sales Conferences/ Special Events sales collateral production, client entertainment; association memberships. It is expected that you will help drive these activities for the Broker-Dealer product line.
