ACCOUNT MANAGER/CSR/ DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
? Proficient with Agency Management Systems including AMS 360.
? Answer questions and resolve problems for clients.
? Quote new business and process renewals, endorsements, audits, and cancellations.
? Complete applications with assistance of producer.
? Process new and renewal business, including updating units and coverages in the client management and marketing systems.
? Order and process change requests initiated by insured.
? Maintain automated company files using AMS 360 Agency management system.
? Keep internal manuals and reference materials up-to-date.
? Maintain familiarity with the company management system and carrier rating platforms
? Review entire account needs when first written (evaluate risk and manage with producer).
? Review account at renewal preparing client coverage summaries coverage recommendations to market for renewal quote. (with producer).
? Obtain expiration dates for policies not written by us to follow up and quote. Cross selling is part of the position.
? Refer group life and health leads to the financial services partner.
? Maintain prospecting system for commercial lines producers, from initial entry of a prospect to purging or writing of an account.
? Work with commercial producers and brokers to prepare proposals for new business marketing of prospects.
? Due to changing business conditions, management may request that additional duties or functions are necessary to fulfill the job requirements.
? Pursuit of relevant certifications and designations beyond required CE to maintain a license is highly encouraged and rewarded.
Commission on new business brought into the agency, or written from phone calls, or cross selling on all accounts, both new and renewal.
Agency pays for designations and certifications and encourages staff to participate in this benefit.
Maryland P&C Agent’s License required.
