Our client is a well-known manufacturer of quality building products. They are actively seeking a Customer Service Representative at their corporate office that will act as a direct liaison between customers and salesmen. They will also assist with order entry, answering the telephones, correct errors, and answer account questions, billing questions, cancellations, and other inquiries.
Order Entry & answering the phones
Take orders from customers and salesmen
Resolve customer complaints via phone & email
Use telephones to reach out to customers and verify account information.
Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling.
Cancel or upgrade accounts.
Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges.
Advise on company information.
Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers.
Inform customer of deals and promotions.
Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
Read from scripts.
Handle changes in policies or renewals
Filing (ex: Invoices & Credits)
Responsible for scanning driver-runs, proof of deliveries and pick-up order receipts.
Assist with International documents
Assist with EDI invoicing
Enter truck receipts
At least 2 years customer service experience handling multiple sku's
Previous experience working with an EDI system
College Degree preferred
Experience with Sage X3 and/or Crystal Reports a plus!
