Our client is a well-known manufacturer of quality building products.  They are actively seeking a Customer Service Representative at their corporate office that will act as a direct liaison between customers and salesmen.  They will also assist with order entry, answering the telephones, correct errors, and answer account questions, billing questions, cancellations, and other inquiries.

Primary responsibilities
  • Order Entry & answering the phones
  • Take orders from customers and salesmen
  • Resolve customer complaints via phone & email
  • Use telephones to reach out to customers and verify account information.
  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling.
  • Cancel or upgrade accounts.
  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges.
  • Advise on company information.
  • Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers.
  • Inform customer of deals and promotions.
  • Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
  • Read from scripts.
  • Handle changes in policies or renewals
  • Filing (ex: Invoices & Credits)
  • Responsible for scanning driver-runs, proof of deliveries and pick-up order receipts.
  • Assist with International documents
  • Assist with EDI invoicing
  • Enter truck receipts
Job Requirements:

At least 2 years customer service experience handling multiple sku's
Previous experience working with an EDI system
College Degree preferred 
Experience with Sage X3 and/or Crystal Reports a plus!
