The Role
Primary Job Responsibilities of the Regional Manager will be to grow IT staffing and solution revenue and client base through personal sales as well as by leading and directing a multi-state sales staff.  To be successful in this role, the candidate must have previous experience selling IT Services and  managing the sales success of multiple locations and multiple sales people. The ideal candidate should also be able to remotely supervise and motivate a team of sales people toward achieving their sales goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communications, mentoring and leadership skills, a strong sense of urgency, and a strategic mindset.

NOTE: This is position entails managing sales staff in 3 offices between Chicago and Milwaukee. You are expected to live somewhere within a commutable distance of either of these metro areas with reasonable access to both cities. It is not remote position. Relocation back to these areas is a possibility if you have roots from school or family.
  • Active involvement in the recruitment, hiring, training and growing of a multi-office sales staff.  Assess and measuring sales staff performance. Coach, mentor and grow staff to achieve local and regional revenue and gross margin goals.
  • Maintain and expand local and regional customer base by counseling sales staff to generate new customers, while growing existing accounts.
  • Create monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and strategies for each office and the region. Achieve regional sales objectives to contribute to corporate strategic plans.
  • Establish sales quotas in conjunction with the local branch managers. 
  • Conduct regularly scheduled progress review meetings with sales staff.
  • Hold sales staff accountable for achieving revenue, headcount, and activity goals.
  • Demonstrate leadership in sales, in staff motivation, in community marketing communication, in responsible participation and direction of local IT community events. Ability to frequently organize promotional social events for clients, prospects, or current and future staff. 
  • 7 to 10+ years of experience in selling IT Consulting, Services, Staff Augmentation or Solutions
  • 1 or more years of managing staff (account managers, recruiters) Proven experience as manager and leader of sales staff
  • Experienced with large scale delivery proposals, including some successes 
  • Ability to manage, measure, and analyze KPI’s
  • Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team
  • Ability to travel a multi-state Midwest region as needed
  • A Bachelor’s degree
