Do you have the competitive mentality we need and enjoy the thrill of pursuing business and closing new accounts?  Do you have strong communication skills and excellent organizational skills?  We are a growing commercial plastics manufacturer and need a Commercial Sales B2B person who can travel up to 60% to visit current accounts and potential customers.  We need a person who has the ability to work well independently, energetic self-starter with strong work ethic.  Someone who is a team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with others during development and implementation of processes and programs.  And you’ll do this from your home office for your territory in California.  Salary is up to $115,000 + Commissions, Bonuses, Benefits & Expenses.
Qualifications for this Commercial Sales position include a bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years’ of technical sales experience with a proven track record in a complex sales environment.  You must have volatile pricing environment experience and contract acumen.  Must be able to travel 60% of the time.
Experience in the plastics manufacturing industry such as blow molding, injection molding and thermoforming, or in consumer packaging experience will get you immediate attention.
To be successful, you’ll need to be comfortable in a complex sales environment.  Must be able to price, fill, manage, and close business in the sales pipeline.  Establish and maintain relationships with individuals at multiple levels within major clients.  Develop annual sales forecast and provide quarterly updates.  Meet annual sales and profitability goals, while delivering robust year over year growth.  Work effectively across the organization to ensure that customers’ expectations are met.
Daily, you will use your selling skills by prospecting and qualifying leads, identifying customer needs, translating features to benefits, delivering effective demos, skillfully negotiating and closing sales.
