This B2B Chemical manufacture needs a Regional Sales Manager who has a competitive mentality and experience selling CHEMICALS! We are a growing commercial & specialty chemicals manufacturer and need a Commercial Sales B2B – Regional Sales Manager - who can travel up to 60% and do ride a-longs with company sales reps visiting current accounts and potential customers.
We need a leader who has the ability to work well independently, an energetic self-starter with a strong work ethic. Someone who is a team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with others during development and implementation of processes and programs.
To be successful, you’ll need to be comfortable in a complex sales environment:
Must be able to price, fill, manage, and close business in chemicals
Establish & maintain relationships with people at multiple levels within organization
Fully understand company product portfolio and chemical performance
Perform joint sales calls with company distributor
Prospect and qualify leads, identify customer needs, negotiate & close sales
Represent company at annual trade shows in great destinations such as Las Vegas.
Bonus++ you’ll do this remote from your East of Mississippi River home office – No relocation necessary but you will need easy access to major airport.
Requirements for this Regional Sales Manager’s position include:
At least 6 years’ of technical sales experience
Proven track record in a complex B2B chemical sales environment
Able to travel 60% of the time
