Senior Sales Operations Manager

About the role:
You do the work our sales consultants don’t want to do: numbers, spreadsheets, automation, data modeling, data analysis, and building out sales processes. You love helping sales teams be successful. Growing steadily and your help is needed to elevate our sales operations. Seek a seasoned data-driven, problem-solver. You will be excited to help our sales team leverage our software solutions to the world.
What You’ll Do:
Build rich and insightful reports, as well as dashboards that measure critical metrics.
Assist with sales planning and organization design, including sales quotas, targets, and sales territories
Make recommendations based on trends/analyses, market conditions, company direction / KPIs, etc.
Use customer data (CRM) and automation tools to provide recommendations on target markets for sales initiatives.
Support strategic initiatives by providing & maintaining system implementation, business monitoring and ensuring alignment.
Communicate plans, achievement against plan, goals etc. to sales management and team members.
Partner with Customer Satisfaction/Implementation teams to design and execute seamless post-close processes as well as integrated account management and customer expansions processes
Identify sales training needs and partner with subject matter authorities and the Sales Director to provide training to the sales team, as well as onboarding for new sales associates
Lead the administration of sales compensation and participate/lead sales compensation analyses/updates.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline or related with 5+ years of experience in sales operations and 3 years in managing teams
Strong knowledge of CRM systems & Excel
A demonstrated ability to work as a great teammate with a helpful / proactive work style
Lead a team of 4-6 salaried technicians, data analysts, and retention specialists
The ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and demonstrate excellent time management skills
Demonstrated results-orientation while exhibiting a desire to achieve high levels of performance, integrity, business ethics, and confidentiality
