Our client is a leading provider of high plastic color concentrates, liquid color, pre-color compounds, additives, dry color and more. They have been in business for over 40 years. My client uses the latest color technology to capture Spectrophotometer values of customer samples and swatches while using state of the art stabilizers to maximize color fastness. They are a growing company they sell into multiple markets and applications such as housewares, industrial containers, automotive, building and construction, packaging, medical and much more.

Your unique role with the company:
You will be responsible to develop and maintain current relationships selling plastic color systems and specialty additives into targeted OEM’s and Major Key Accounts. Types of OEM’s include injection molders, blow molders, and compounders. You will be directly responsible for achieving volume, revenue, and margin growth within a defined territory by growing companies share with new and existing customer service through the sale of product and quality service offerings. You will be covering a territory of Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, NE Missouri.
Working from a home office within the Territory. Preferably Chicago, IL area.
What we are looking for in a Candidate:
B.S. Degree, Marketing, Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or similar.
5+ years of color concentrate / compounding experience in Injection molding, blow molding, sheet extrusion, and compounding.
Great communication, organizational, and follow up skills required.
Ability to travel up to 80% at times in field. Overnight travel typically 50%
