Will be the "tip of the spear" for our $75MM-$100MM, #1 in the U.S Market, #2 in the World, privately owned U.S. client's new strategic sales initiative across multiple industrial markets including the film, non-woven, plastics, metals, wood, textiles & tissue/paper, oil & gas and steel markets. Will identify and penetrate targeted industrial accounts within Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas and Eastern Louisiana and may be called on to support strategic industrial accounts in other sales regions based upon expertise.
The candidate will be/will have:
A track record (5-20 years min.) growing new business with OEM’s in the blown film, cast film, extrusion coating, paper, lamination, roll coating, textile metals or steel markets.
Able to interface with customers' plant maintenance, plant engineering, purchasing, operations, and leadership. May be required to provide technical presentations to customers.
A strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to diagnose customers’ issues and translate that into a product/service recommendations.
Experience with selling industrial service or re-manufactured products is useful.
Capability to effectively partner with the operation’s team on meeting/exceeding expectations on quality, delivery, and cost.
A dynamic communicator with active listening and good presentation skills.
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Engineering is preferred.
Will travel of 40%, mostly by automobile, working from home.
