The successful candidate will have the ability to leverage this company's solvent adhesive technologies to the tape and label industry. This position reports to the GM for the business and will be responsible for creating new accounts, as well as expanding current accounts.
Interface with domestic customers, as well as potential customers, within the Midwest & Northeastern US.
Assist with the development and implementation of the sales strategy.
Identify existing and future product opportunities, within the pressure sensitive adhesive coating and merchant areas.
Demonstrate the ability to grow present customers, as well as future customers within the Midwest & Northeast.
Provide support for trade shows and pressure sensitive adhesive organizational groups.
Assist with the marketing communication strategies for pressure sensitive adhesive.
Support the marketing and sales driven pressure sensitive adhesive strategies by providing input and support.
Ability to indentify unmet needs and close opportunities with new customers.
Provide some level of technical support for customers.
Understanding and experience within the coating landscape, as well as the organizations involved with the pressure sensitive adhesive tape & label environment; have 5 to 25 years of pressure sensitive adhesive sales experience, either within the front end (adhesive supply chain) or the coating area.
B.S. degree in chemistry, along with sales experience is a plus.
Experience working with technical, manufacturing and procurement.
Ability to travel 30% to 50% of the time.
Team player, self-starter, assertive, good customer presence.
Superior organizational, communication and computer skill.
