We’re helping an exciting Start-Up in the Bay area turn an old fashion, outdated industry on its head! In a market that sold over $25B of food/products in 2016, all/most are producing the same mass-produced & generic products. We’re using technology, data and a huge focus on nutrition to deliver a more customizable and healthy solution/experience.  With dramatically different products that speak for themselves, and newly deployed customized systems and technologies design by some of the areas most talented cracker jack engineers, we are expecting a sizable disruption in the industry.  
Reporting to and working closely with the CEO and Co-Founder, the Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for finding and attracting the area’s best talent. The initial focus and responsibilities will be recruiting, hiring and on boarding employees. The longer term responsibilities will include the design and development of hiring and other human resource policies; ATS research, analysis and selection; build out of recruiting team; other strategic projects as needed.
As part of this fast paced start-up candidates will be responsible for other projects and programs (some may be outside the focus of recruiting). Our client is still at the “all hands on deck” stage and looking for folks who are interested in being part of this exciting period of growth and success.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies in a highly competitive market.
  • Create a talent acquisition strategy and brand that produces best in class talent for both corporate and production facility.
  • Full lifecycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluation, and offer negotiations
  • Resume/Application review and screening
  • Develop candidate pipelines for a variety of roles (sales, marketing, technology, HR, production &  more)
  • Leverage all sourcing tools including job posting, job board mining, internet sourcing, social networking, employee referrals, and networking events
  • Partner with third-party search firms
  • Implement an applicant tracking system
  • Provide ongoing, up to date talent acquisition metrics
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years Recruitment experience (Start Up experience is ideal)
  • Experience recruiting both corporate and production type roles (ideal)
  • Proven success delivering recruiting results individually or as part of a team in a fast-paced, demanding, high growth environment.
  • In-depth direct sourcing expertise utilizing a range of methods and sources.
  • Strong customer management skills with ability to build trust and credibility with both candidates & hiring managers
  • Driven by success with entrepreneurial spirit
