Neuroscience Sales Manager
Elekta is an international medical technology group, providing advanced clinical solutions, comprehensive information systems, and services for improved cancer care and management of brain disorders.
We are currently seeking a experienced Neuroscience Sales Manager for the following Sales Territory:
Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Houston and Dallas area.
SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Neuroscience Sales Manager is to lead the sales effort to meet or exceed order and revenue targets for stereotactic capital equipment for assigned territory, for new and installed base customers. The Sales Manager will utilize Elekta's internal, and 3rd party external resources to ensure the skills and knowledge required to win business are effectively utilized in the sales process.
Sales Territory: Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Houston and Dallas area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with existing customer physicians and hospital reference sites to build and maintain relationships (including Key Accounts) needed for sales growth.
Manage Neuroscience sales pipeline according to Sales Process.
Use Neuroscience Sales Process to monitor and accurately forecast orders from pipeline.
Manage and maintain relationships with Elekta's dealer's network to develop new neurosurgeon champions for stereotactic business.
Advise of new market opportunities.
Prepare sales reports as requested.
Ensure high level of commercial, clinical, and technical skill and knowledge.
Work with Oncology Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Site Planning, Management, Customer Support and other Elekta departments to bring expertise to target accounts in all stages of the sales process.
Actively participate in and maintain contacts with customers during trade shows, symposiums, and other customer events.
Work with Sales Support to ensure the timely, correct and complete generation, negotiation, and closure of purchase agreements.
Bundled sales as needed with Oncology, LSN, MEG, and other Elekta Sales counterparts to ensure profitable margin and customer satisfaction in bundled deals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field.
At least five years consistent and successful experience in capital medical equipment sales. Ten years in capital medical equipment sales in radiation and/or neuroscience sales preferred.
Excellent listening skills and strategic thinking to understand multiple customer financial, clinical and technical needs, with the ability to interpret these into an Elekta solution presented within a consultative selling process.
Persistence and perseverance to manage and maintain momentum in a 9 to 18 month capital sales process.
Flexibility to understand and close business in unique and non-standard business environments.
Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
Demonstrated initiative (self-starter).
Flexible style ('do whatever it takes' and 'win-win' approach).
Availability for overnight travel (approximately three and one-half days per week).
