National Account Manager Job in Schaumburg village Illinois (IL)

My client is a distributor and licenssee of household appliances (microwaves, compact refrigerators, wine/beverage coolers, small appliances) that are sold to major retailers. This position is a National Account Manager calling on retail stores that are established accounts as well as using their contacts to open new business.
This person will also manage one sales support person and be located in the HQ office in the suburbs of Chicago.

Potential candidates must have existing relationships with some of the retail industry like, Sams, Costco, Sears, Best Buy, Lowes etc. They will work out of the HQ office to understand the organization. This position will report to the VP of Sales and travel is 20%-30%. This is a new position, so there will be lots of cold calling.
