Requires 2+ years experience in wholesaler and distributor sales and contracting with wholesaler/distributor companies. BA/BS in Business and thorough understanding of wholesale and distribution market.
The National Account Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a distribution program. This includes developing contracts with medical/pharmaceutical wholesalers and distributors, creating and following strategic sales plan to expand market presence, and building strong relationships within the distribution channels. Core responsibilities include: develop, negotiate, and implement strategic contracts with wholesaler/distributor suppliers; manage and maintain existing wholesaler/distributor contracts and relationships; develop strong relationships at various levels within key strategic distributor accounts; and identify new opportunities existing in market.
