Job Description
Are you currently a financial advisor who would like to be part of a privately held growing company that provides comprehensive financial solutions for individuals and businesses. Do you want to be part of an organization that has an open architecture platform and will allow you to sell the financial products of many different companies? If you are NOT currently a financial advisor, but you have experience selling life insurance and/or health insurance, would you like to add investment products to your portfolio? Our client, a privately held company, has been in business since 1948 and has 125 Associates and staff located throughout Indiana and Kentucky. Teamwork, idea sharing, and healthy competition set our client apart from others in their industry. You define your own financial goals rather than worrying about salary caps, corporate grade levels, or glass ceilings. You can work in one of our clients offices, or if you currently own your own office and want to maintain that location, our client may be open to your not moving from your current locations. You will also receive a guaranteed salary during your first year, based on your previous years production. You will also receive a generous override for your out of pocket expenses.

Our client has an open architecture platform, so you will not be a captive associate. Product offerings from many different companies include:

* Fee based financial planning
* Partnership programs
* Tax Shelter plans
* Investment options

Your background should include:

* Bachelors degree preferred
* Minimum of 5 years experience as an investment advisor. Client will also consider candidates who have mainly sold other types of products such as health insurance who want to broaden their scope.
* Solid track record, including the ability to bring a book of business with you to our client
* Series 7 licensed (If have background in health insurance, willingness/ability to immediately obtain series 7 license)

Ideally you will live in the surrounding Fort Wayne area. If you live near Indianapolis or South Bend, our client may still have an interest in your background.
