DescriptionInternational European Agricultural company is seeking a Sales Manager, who understands the heavy equipment market (tractors, combines, harvesting machinery, spare parts, etc.), for its Canadian regional office. The Sales Manager will manage the sales effort in Canada and be responsible of growing sales with current customers, while developing new customers and markets.
Candidates for this position should have:
A minimum of five years experience in agricultural or farming product sales and sales leadership
Field, technical or sales experience working for or with manufacturers of agricultural machine implements
A degree in agriculture or proven experience in the industry
Excellent sales skills complemented by a highly motivated and enthusiastic personality
The ability and desire to travel, within Canada, the US and internationally
Strong communication skills and exceptional reliability
Ability to manage and motivate a small, highly focused team
The demonstrable ability to develop, follow through and deliver on a plan
Superlative problem solving and analytical skills
A very strong sense of urgency
MS Office expertise (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Having worked for an international company (plus)
