Client is a small company within the High Performance Computing arena
They help financial companies run complex calculations, whether for trading or
Risk or other investment decisions, by sharing the work load across a grid of computers that run in parallel.
Virtually every financial firm is challenged in this day of faster and quicker, at the same time they can no longer spend unlimited money on a solution. This helps lower the total cost of ownership of their IT infrastructure through better utilization of their existing resources.
The successful candidate must have a successful track record selling similar solutions into the Financial Services sector. They should have experience with a start up type of opportunity;
- where they have been a thought leader in the industry.
- Built a territory from zero (not necessarily with a start up)
- Created a reference able client base
- Experience with Data center sales is a plus
- Must be a strong new business hunter
- Deal size experience $1 mill +
- This is NOT selling consulting services or Hardware
Having a good understanding of the technology and Financial services business application is important
